The rainy season has been unusual dry, this was in our favour during the big lodge renovations. Now the lodge is open again and everyone is looking forward to another exciting season.
Getting ready for the season includes the annual building of the pontoon and the excitement of the first crossing. This will be our main entrance into the southern part of the Mfuwe area until mid November when the rains star again and excess roads to the pontoon get to wet.
The game viewing is great in this area and we see few other operators…using the main gate we visit other areas of the park, allowing guest to cover a fast area during there stay with us at Kafunta.
