The setting with the sunrise and sunset over the river Luangwa is just amazing! In both camps (Three Rivers & Island Bush Camps). The tents, real houses (!) are just perfect. With the beautiful decoration and wonderful architecture that we enjoyed.
Also the schedule for the different activities is very well thought of and works very well!
And the food is absolutely delicious, and a wonderful experience every time!
The staff makes us feel at home and are always attentive to all our needs.

We spent the first nights at Three Rivers and the other nights at Kafunta River Lodge. both places are very different and both wonderful. The warmness and hospitality of the whole team is everywhere. The food was delicious and served in a spectacular scenery. The game walks and drives were very rewarding. South Luangwa truly deserves the title of “cat’s paradise”, and so many more interesting things to see.

What a treat. Kafunta to ease us into Zambia, and then Three Rivers where you feel truly part of nature. Thanks to our excellent guide, Paul, we notched up over 60 bird species, not to mention thte animals – a fish eagle dispossessing a saddleback stork of its hard earned catfish was a highlight.
Another highlight was Maria’s magic hands at the spa. Her deep tissue massage was terrific… Highly recommended!

Just love this place. Everything is just perfect. Sad to be leaving. We wanted to see wild dogs, and today when we were sitting waiting to go to the airport , a pack of dogs were on the hunt right in front fo the amp! Amazing and a perfect way to end a perfect safari!

Thank you for the wonderful, warm and ever-present hospitality. Staying at Kafunta and going around through South Luangwa NP is an amazing experience. We’ve seen breathtaking landscapes and sunsets impossible to forget. Once we will be back in our everyday routine, thinking of the landscape in front of the deck will allow us to calm down and breathe again!
Thank you to the wonderful staff, to our amazing guide David who taught us so many things and to the incredible spotter Robert. Thanks to them, we’ve seen all the possible animals in their most natural setting and it was very emotional. But… we still miss to see the pangolin, so we’ll be back! Wait for us!

Another amazing stay at Three Rivers. The game viewing has been amazing with so many animals visiting the camp including a lion last night!
The hippo chorus at night will never be forgotten. TJ and the staff make you feel so welcome and are very helpful.
One of the highlights has to be the star beds all the more special to me as a wheelchair user being carried up the stairs. To lie there under the stars and listen to all the animal noises is just magical.
