End of August already?
Let’s catch up on the crazy wild moments of the past few weeks.
Another month has flown by, and our safari season is not just in full swing – it’s really heating up! With summer rolling in, the bush is dry and hot, but that only means even more spectacular wildlife sightings for our guests!
The bush is alive with action, and every day brings back exciting new stories from the game drives and walks.
These photos of two magnificent male kudus is just one example of the great sightings we’ve had.
But the gold medal definitely goes to this incredible sighting reported by our guests at Three Rivers Camp – they witnessed a leopard, minding its own business, enjoying a recent kill – being challenged by lions.
Read the story here
Two lionesses climbed the tree to steal the kill, while the leopard took refuge higher up, huddled in foliage.
In the meantime a male lion was keeping a close watch on the ground! Incredible!

We’re also featuring many superb photos from Will Riley and Paige Swanepoel, both lucky enough to be based at Kafunta.
And we talk about the wildlife coming through our camps, like here at Three Rivers Camp.
In this newsletter, we also talk about what a family safari is like (and by the way we have a new blog on this subject).
We give you our usual community updates, and finally we’re inviting our keen photographer guests to check out Andy Parkinson’s new YouTube tutorials.
Don’t miss any of these updates, and read our full newsletter!
